In addition to the above, I have practiced extensively Hawaian Massage, Usui Reiki and Crystal healing.

My passion is to help alliviate suffering on our planet.

In Southern India, during an initiation I experienced Awakening. When at home I watched the falling away of old patterns and identities. Later, through Byron Kate's work, I realized that suffering is simply the result of "arguing with reality" -- arguing with "What Is." I fell in love with her method and watched "my" problems dissolve. A year later I discovered the epitome teachings of Dzogchen via Candice O'Denver. This brought even greater clarity. In 2014 I "met" my Self in the silence of a guided meditation with Sri Mooji in Portugal. And in 2015, I graduated from the Brain Optimization Holistic Institute by completing its 10-Month Certification in Psychology of Consciousness
with Emphasis in Non-Duality.

My long journey has brought me to a pont where I feel thoroughly prepared to help the sincere seeker find Awakening and embody it; so he/she can live from the Truth.

I am a lover of "What Is" and a lover of animals, and most especcially little squirrels.

Gian Girardi, MS, MA BOHI Founder

Gian was born in 1955, to an Italian/Spanish family in Chile. From early childhood he felt a great interest in science and later for the humanities, especially for spirituality or what could be rightly called Psychology of Consciousness. At age 24, he graduated in engineering from the most prestigious University in Chile.

After marrying Viviana their spiritual interests brought them to the US where Gian completed a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and obtained a California State License to practice psychotherapy. He accumulated extensive clinical experience, gained through more than twenty years of working with clients. His counseling work has been focused into three main areas -- Nutritional, Psychological and Consciousness.

Eventually he renounced his license as a statement of personal independence from the tradition-laden mainstream, with its inherent limitations and over-regulations. He presently devotes most of his time to education and to his vision for BOHI.

Gian holistic vision for BOHI has been a natural expansion of his own, long personal, transpersonal and professional process. His initiation into the mysteries of the body, mind and Spirit began in 1979 and has continued uninterruptedly for 37 years. Towards the beginnings of 2012, during a conversation with a non-dual teacher a sudden insight, followed by an avalanche of secondary insights, triggered the ending of his search for Awakening. This end has brought peace and contentment, and a mental clarity that is impossible to access through any other mean.
