How to Earn Your Masters in Spiritual Psychology Counseling:

The main requirement is to attend all the classes -- 2 hours per week -- and commit to doing the homework that will take about 3 to 5 hours every week. The program lasts for about 21 months. Homework is mostly reading from specific books and specific chapters that will be provided to you by the University.

For this particular course the student is encouraged, and supported, to continue with, or create, a spiritual daily practice. Such practice is highly personalized by the student him/herself, according to preference and temperament. Practice often includes some meditation and may last, depending on your schedule, between 15 minutes to an hour. This is not a requisite for successful completion of the course, but it can contribute enormously in helping you to become a good spiritual psychology counselor. Additionally, such practice can benefit you immensely.

Among the many things that you will learn (please see our Curriculum Summary for this program) is how to guide a spiritual retreat. Therefore, you will be also encouraged to participate once a month in a whole-day spiritual retreat. The University offers whole day retreats, but you are welcome to attend retreats in other places as well.
